On Sunday Larry and I hosted an Open House at Chivalry Lane in Nesconset, Long Island. This beautiful home is for sale for only $462,500.
For those of you that do not know where Nesconset is located, it is right next to the town of Smithtown. Although this house is for sale in Nesconset, Long Island, it is within the famed Smithtown School District #1.We had scheduled this Open House in Nesconset to start at 1:00 p.m. however, the skies above opened up and we had to wait until things calmed down some. As we drove up the driveway to this house for sale in Nesconset, 2 potential buyers were already there waiting for us to arrive. One we had an arranged meeting with, and another was just waiting for us to see the inside of this house. The first couple stayed for quite a while roaming around each room. They seemed very interested in it, asked alot of questions and walked around again, but no offer. The second couple walked around, and said nothing as they wandered away. Buyers continued to show up, even with the crummy weather. Another buyer really seemed to like the house, but she hasn’t put her home on the market yet. The last buyers already sold their present house, and said they would be back for a second look. So, the weather didn’t seem to stop the public from looking. Why is the media saying no one is out there buying homes? Well, we didn’t get any offer, but stay tuned…
